The Goal: Create an online community for like-minded gardeners to share tips, recipes, and moral support.
The Challenge: Design a friendly inviting place where a team of writers can easily post articles, recipes, and other information, and visitors to the site can add comments, even though none of them know anything about HTML or Web design.
From community gardens to patio pots, this dynamic web site is designed to serve as a gathering place for gardeners and chefs to share recipes, growing tips, and more.
The Technology: The site was created using the Joomla! Content Management System and includes a password-protected administrator panel, accessible via any Web browser, where writers and editors can easily update the site.
This site takes advantage of Joomla's online magazine features, such as categories and subcategories, and uses interactive advertising options to display random ad banners from Linkshare, Commission Junction, Amazon, and Google.
