Social Media Tip of the Week

What Email Service Should You Use?

I’ve spent way too much time in the last few weeks working my way through five different email services. I signed up for each one, took the time to hand-enter and import addresses to test the features, browsed their various templates, and experimented with their template editing tools.

None of them got a perfect score. Big surprise, right?

For this review, I tested: ConstantContact, iContact, BenchMark Email, AWeber and StreamSend.com (special thanks to Paul and Geteesh for their suggestions). To help evaluate the features of these bulk email services, I created this comparison table (click here to view).

Among the things you should consider when selecting an email service:

Benchmark scored pretty high in all of these categories and seemed the best fit for my special needs, at least for now. Look over my comparison table to get a quick idea of which service might be best for you.

Until next time,

Janine
