How can I adjust the bullets on my unordered list?

October 23rd, 2008 · No Comments

Hi

Hope you don’t mind me asking you some questions. Just been watching your total training DVDs and just ordered your book. I have a small problem which I can not find the answer for.

I have an unordered list to which I have added a circular image/logo as the bullet. The bullet is not lined up with the text – it is slightly higher and I don’t know how to adjust it.

The other problem is the bullet is too near the text – I can add a space before the text but there must be a better way?

John

Hi, John,

Try experimenting with the Line Height option in the CSS style. You’ll find this field in the Type Category in the CSS Rule Definition dialog. By changing the line height, you can adjust where the bullets appear in relation to the text. I also like to change the bottom margin setting in the Box Category to control the distance between bulleted items.

Hope that helps and I wish you all the best,
Janine
