I was inspired by my own family to create DigitalFamily.com, and my goal here is to introduce you to the best ways to use the Internet, digital photos, and a wide range of software to keep in touch with those you love -- whether you live down the street or across the globe.
I'm Janine Warner, author of more than a dozen books about the Internet, and a growing collection of training videos. In this site you'll find free tips and tutorials, as well as a collection of books and videos you can order to learn more.

Author Biography
Janine Warner is a best-selling author, speaker, journalist, and multimedia consultant.
Since 1996, she's written more than a dozen books about the Internet, including Creating Family Web Sites For Dummies, Dreamweaver CS3 For Dummies, and the Digital Family Album book series.
She's also the host of a series of Web design videos for Total Training that provide professional-level instruction for Adobe Dreamweaver and Microsoft Expression Web.
Janine is a frequent guest on television and radio shows and she's an experienced journalist. Her articles and columns have appeared in a variety of publications, including The Miami Herald, Shape Magazine, and the Pulitzer Prize Winning Point Reyes Light newspaper. She's also a regular columnist for Layers Magazine.
Janine's expertise in multimedia, technology, and education have taken her on consulting assignments from Miami to Mexico and speaking engagements from New York to New Delhi. She is fluent in Spanish and travels regularly to Spain and Latin America for consulting projects and speeches. From 2001 to 2005, she served as a judge for the Arroba de Oro Latin American Internet awards and helped to create an Internet literacy program for students in Central America called Operación Red (Operation Network).
Janine has been a part-time faculty member at both the University of Miami and the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication.
From 1998 to 2000, Janine worked for The Miami Herald, first as their Online Managing Editor and later as Director of New Media. She also served as Director of Latin American Operations for CNET Networks, an international technology media company.
An award-winning former reporter, she earned a degree in Journalism and Spanish from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and began her career in Northern California as a reporter and editor for the bilingual newspaper Vision Latina and the Pulitzer-Prize winning Point Reyes Light.
